It was another setback and a major one for Boys Before Flowers as one of the actresses, Jang Ja Yun (27) who plays Sunny in the drama and makes life difficult for Jandi as part of the JinSunMi trio was found to have committed suicide in her Bundang home today.
According to local police who confirmed the suicide, " Jang Ja Yun was found to have committed suicide in her own home today. She was discovered at around 7.34pm by her sister who then called the police. We are now investigating the case and will give further updates like the reason, her will (if any), etc at a later time." The police also revealed that her approximate time of death was around 4.30pm and that she had hung herself.
Friends who knew Jang Ja Yun was shocked by her suicide and expressed, "She had a passion for acting and loved it very much. She was very much a extrovert and we never really expected that she would commit suicide." Her sudden suicide has plunged the entire Boys Before Flowers into shock with the main cast of Lee Min Ho, Goo Hye Sun, etc unable to believe what they have heard after learning of the news from their respective companies.
Everyone involved with Boys Before Flowers will be paying their respects tomorrow morning at her wake after the morning session ends. According to someone at the filming site now, "We are still filming now (10pm, KST) and it was a big shock to receive this sad news suddenly. Why do all the bad things keep happening to Boys Before Flowers?"
Jang Ja Yun graduated from Chosun University and had made her debut through a Lotte Biscuit CF and was only starting out with her acting career. She still won a bit of popularity for her small role in Boys Before Flowers despite her late debut. But it's being reported that a dispute with her present management agency and a lack of time in Boys Before Flowers had left her feeling depressed and eventually causing her to choose the wrong path.

Kim debuted as the leader of SS501 in 2005. In addition to their musical activities, SS501 participated in two reality shows — Thank You For Waking Us Up (2005) and Thank You For Raising Us (2006) — that profiled the group's life together. They also appeared in MNet's Idol World in 2007, which showed SS501 doing various missions in Japan.
He joined the cast of MBC variety reality show We Got Married on May 11, 2008, with Hwang Bo, who is 6 years his senior. They achieved high popularity acting as a newlywed couple. Due to his appearance on We Got Married, he was cast in the Korean version of Hana Yori Dango as one of the members of the famous F4. In the hit drama series, Boys Over Flowers, he plays Yoon Ji Hoo (Hanazawa Rui, in Hana Yori Dango). The series was a huge media and ratings sensation in Korea during its run from January to March 2009, garnering a huge amount of popularity for the entertainer.
Along with his bandmates, Kim is preparing SS501's new Korean album. The group will kick off their Asia concert in mid-August 2009.

Kim sang Bum (born Kim Sang-bum on July 7, 1989) is a South Korean actor who has appeared in numerous Korean television series and dramas such as Unstoppable High Kick and East of Eden. He has most notably played the role of So Yi-jung on popular drama Boys Over Flowers.

Kim Bum met with a car accident during dawn on 9th February on his way back from filming drama ‘Boys Over Flowers’, and was sent to GangDongSeongShim hospital in GangDongGoo. He also underwent a surgery. Fortunately, Kim Bum did not sustain from any major injuries except for a small injury at his toes.
Already, on 1st February, after the car that Kim Bum was riding in when he was travelling to a filming set in GyeongGiDo bumped into another car, fans were all worried about Kim Bum after he had complained of backache.
One of the staff at GangDongSeongShim hospital said, “Kim Bum was sent in at around 12.20 am and he underwent a survery for his torn toe. After the operation ended, there are plans for him to stay hospitalised for further treatment.”
Kim Bum is currently still receiving physical theraphy at the hospital.

---KIM JOON's---On the same day as his castmate Kim Hyun-joong’s small traffic collision, actor Kim Joon (”Woo-bin” of Boys Before Flowers) was also in a minor car accident.
Kim Joon’s incident actually occurred first but was reported later; it took place in Seoul on the morning of January 22. The other vehicle was a taxi, but the collision was so minor that the involved parties managed to settle things on the spot, according to Kim’s management. Nobody was injured.
Thankfully it’s not something worth getting excited about. On the other hand, now I have an excuse to post these newly released photos of Kim Joon, below the cut:
I know this is probably sacrilegious to say, but Kim Joon almost reminds me of Jang Dong-gun in these pictures. I think it’s the sleepy eyes, mostly, although there are similarities in the nose and mouth region too.









F4 member Kim Hyun Joong was involved in a car accident while headed to a filming location.
While heading to the Shinchon filming location in Seoul on January 21st at 5:30PM, the van Kim Hyun Joong was riding in collided with another vehicle at the Gwanghwamun intersection.
The right side of the vehicle occupied by Kim Hyun Joong sustained some damage but luckily he was seated in a different location and didn’t sustain any traumatic injuries. He merely seemed startled by the sudden accident but a judgment will be made as they reach a hospital in the vicinity.
After receiving a thorough examination at the hospital they will decide whether or not they will continue with filming said Kim Hyun Joong’s side. If there is any serious injury then filming today will be difficult.
In the meantime, Kim Hyun Joong is currently acting as F4 member Yoon Ji Hoo and in the middle of a love triangle alongside Koo Hye Sun & Lee Min Ho in KBS ‘Boys Before Flowers.’

Lee Min Ho (Korean: ???) is a South Korean actor who is best known for his leading role as the leader of F4, Goo Jun Pyo, in the Korean adaptation of the popular manga series, Hana Yori Dango, titled Boys Over Flowers, in 2009.
A cinema major at Seoul's Konkuk University, his acting debut was in 2005, in MBC's Love Hymn, appearing as a minor character. His first lead role came in 2007, starring as Cha Gong Chan in SBS's Mackerel Run, an 8-part high-school drama.
However, his first big career break came when he was announced to be part of the Korean F4 on October 2, 2008. He was successful in getting the biggest role as F4's leader, Tsukasa Domyouji, from the manga Hana Yori Dango; his character was renamed Goo Joon Pyo in the Korean version, and he stars alongside the actress Koo Hye Sun, Kim Hyun Joong, Kim Bum and Kim Joon. The drama first aired on January 5, 2009 on KBS as a Monday-Tuesday miniseries.
The role of Goo Joon Pyo catapulted him to fame, and led to many endorsements including Levi's, LG Telecom, Samsung Anycall, Trugen, Market O, Cadillac CTS, Samsung, Cass Beer,and Dunkin Donuts.

1.It was reported today that Koo Hye Sun was involved in a traffic accident this morning and became the latest Boys Before Flowers star to be afflicted with bad luck on the road. While returning to Seoul from the Changwon film site, the vehicle that Hye Sun was in bumped into another vehicle from the opposite direction as both attempted to change lanes.
After the accident, Hye Sun transferred to another vehicle and continued her journey back to Seoul and is now getting a thorough check-up at a local medical facility.
According to YG Entertainment, "Thankfully, Hye Sun did not suffer any major injuries. She is just in shock. But according to those in the same vehicle, there was a fine line between a minor and major accident. Judging from the present situation, it's unlikely that she will be able to film today. As for tomorrow's filming session, we will have to wait for the final diagnosis."
This is not the first time that Hye Sun had suffered an injury while filming Boys Before Flowers. Earlier, she had hit her head against the floor of the swimming pool while filming and suffered a minor concussion. But having yet to recover fully from this, she is now in shock from this accident. Fans are really worried about her health condition right now.
2. Rather than saying that he’s a hero, I’d rather put it as this, Koo Hye Sun has her own personal ‘angel’ through Gu Jun Pyo, I mean Lee Min Ho :) The accident doesn’t seem ‘minor’ at all after all this news and talk AND the postponing of airing for “Boys Over Flowers” episode 17 till this Tuesday. Koo Hye Sun who is currently starring in the KBS drama ‘Boys Over Flower’ was injured in a car accident.
On the 27th the star’s representative revealed, “She was filming for ‘Boys Over Flowers’ until dawn in Changwon and while heading to Seoul there was a minor collision when the car was changing lanes,” and “There isn’t serious injury but she is currently being examined and resting at a hospital in Seoul.”
